Everyone deserves a fresh start.
No one we support has ever been recalled to prison or hospital for the same offence.
We never judge you for your past contact with the criminal justice system. Instead, we believe in your future and your ability to build a better life.
We work with others to keep you and those around you safe. Our goal is to help you lead a safer, more independent life in your own home within your local area.
Through personalised support, you’ll gain confidence, self-control, and understanding of others. Our support usually lasts around seven years. It gradually reduces as you become more capable of managing your life safely and achieving full rehabilitation.
Many people we’ve helped, like Henry, Reece, Farid and Marvin, have moved forward and rebuilt their lives.
How Our Criminal Justice Support Works
In line with NHS Transforming Care, we support you to transition from institutions to live in your own home.
If you are referred to us with a criminal history or risk, we start with a specialist forensic assessment. This assessment helps us understand your needs and risks, ensuring we plan your support effectively.
Your personalised support plan is created based on this assessment. We also put in place a Risk Trigger Response (RTR) plan to manage any risks proactively, actively, and reactively.
Our specialised approach combines positive behaviour support, attachment and interactive theories, cognitive approaches, teaching and learning theories, and humanistic psychology.
We work with your current and previous support providers, family members (if appropriate), care managers, professional partners and sometimes people from the criminal justice agencies. This helps us understand you much better.
Our specialist teams work as part of a multi-agency approach with police, probation, housing, NHS and local authorities, and receive oversight from our Supporting Safe Living Panel to ensure best practice.
