No matter how complex your support needs are, we will work closely with you and everyone in your circle of support to help you get more from life.
Find out how Katy, Jack and Jane are making choices and taking control of their lives.
And how Steve, John and Richard are feeling less frustrated.
If you’ve got a history of behaviours that challenge, we understand that almost always, this is actually you saying that you’re distressed in some way. So we’ll call it a behaviour of distress and we’ll work hard to understand why you’re distressed and what we can do about it.
We will become experts in you, starting with how you choose to communicate.
We aim to recognise and value your unique gifts and abilities.
And of course, your safety is our priority. Your support team will be specially trained to meet your individual needs and will work with the health and other specialists around you.
Supporting individuals with complex needs is very important to us. We are committed to supporting you in ways that make sense to you — helping you develop new skills that give you more choices and greater control over your life.
You may live alone or with a few housemates, in supported living or a registered care home — whichever suits you best.
As we get to know you better, and support you in the way that you want, there will be fewer reasons for you to feel distressed.
We look forward to meeting you and supporting you to live your life to the fullest, whatever your gifts, abilities and needs.
