#ImWithSam Teacher guidance

Our #ImWithSam Teacher Guidance is a comprehensive resource designed to support educators in delivering meaningful lessons about learning disabilities and autism.
Hate crime

At Dimensions, we believe that every young person deserves to grow up in a society that values diversity, promotes inclusion, and actively challenges discrimination.

This guide accompanies the #ImWithSam campaign and is tailored for Key Stage 3 pupils, helping teachers raise awareness of the challenges faced by people with learning disabilities and autistic people. It encourages students to reflect on how attitudes and behaviours impact people, and empowers them to question and challenge discrimination in all its forms.

Aligned with the PSHE Association’s programme of study, the guidance supports a developmental approach to PSHE education, embedding the lesson within broader themes of diversity, equality, and anti-bullying. It also provides practical advice on creating a safe learning environment, using inclusive language, and signposting support for pupils and staff.
