Edward’s works of charitable art

Edward’s work recently featured at an exhibition at The Mustard Seed café, where he sold his paintings to raise an amazing four-figure sum for two different charities
News

Edward from Wiltshire is not only a keen, incredibly talented artist, he’s incredibly kind spirited too.

Edward recently launched his latest exhibition, to support two causes close to his heart: Love Marlborough Kids Meals and Joy of Learning, a Ugandan charity helping children from Sanyu Babies’ Home settle into family life.

Art has always been part of Edward’s world. Growing up in Marlborough, his home is filled with creativity – from intricate ‘paint by numbers’ pieces to detailed tapestries (often turned into cushion covers) and, more recently, stunning diamond art designs. His artistic journey spans decades, and his dedication is matched by his commitment to the local community.

When Edward isn’t creating, he’s giving back. He volunteers three days a week at the Mustard Seed café and is an active member of St Mary’s Church, serving as a communion assistant and helping in the parish office.

The exhibition drew a packed crowd, filling the café with warmth and excitement as family, friends, and community supporters gathered. People queued for the chance to buy Edward’s work – and even to get his signature on their chosen pieces. The response was so enthusiastic that the event raised an incredible four-figures, which will be split between the two charities. The buzz even caught the attention of the local press, who featured Edward’s story.

It was a packed event, where lots of people wanted Edward’s signature on the artwork they bought.
