Autism

Chris, who is supported by our transitions servicePeople who experience autism spectrum conditions have specific needs that are different to those with learning difficulties. We have been supporting people with autism for over 20 years and have developed specialist knowledge and training programs to develop this understanding as research in the field progresses.

We work in partnership with individuals and their families to provide innovative, person centered support in positive environments that promote lifelong learning. We are also committed to collaborating with communities, other organisations, and colleges and universities in order to offer support that encourages choice, control, and citizenship.

In order to assess the quality of our services, we maintain a thorough and robust quality assurance program which involves the viewpoints of people being supported, families, staff, local authorities, and other professionals. Several of our services are also accredited by the National Autistic Society.
