Support for People with Profound or Moderate Learning Disabilities and Autism

People with autism or a learning disability should have the support they need to live how and where they want. At Dimensions, we organise and develop support services in the right away.

Our service planning and delivery include:

  • Supporting person-centred planning
  • Meeting the needs of people of different ages
  • Taking into account future housing and employment support needs
  • Co-producing with people who use services, families, and care providers
  • Having a workforce which has the right skills, knowledge, and qualities.

How Dimensions Support People With Autism & Learning Disabilities

We support people who have a wide range of learning disabilities and autism to live the life they choose, gain increased independence and achieve their goals and ambitions. People like Jane, KarenBarbara and Elliott. And Maggie & Doreen.

We are experts in communicating with those who find it hard to be heard

We are experts in communicating with those who find it hard to be heard. Furthermore, we listen to what people and their families tell us. Not only that, but we successfully support people with even the most complex needs and ‘challenging’ (generally distressed) histories to be part of their community, enabling them to have greater choice and control, and to live an ordinary life.

The people we support live in their own homes, in supported living or in CQC-registered care homes, according to their needs. Find out how we help with housing.

We always base our personalised support on the specific needs, choices and ambitions of the individual, following our principles of person-centred thinking, Active Support and Positive Behaviour Support.
