Short breaks and respite at Queen’s Lodge in West Sussex

Our Queen’s Lodge short breaks service in Crawley provides safe and welcoming respite for guests with learning disabilities and/or autism, and can also be used as a stepping-stone into independent living.

Queen’s Lodge is run by our charitable arm, Outreach 3 Way, and offers a range of personalised support options for people with differing needs, including; one-to-one, regular or one off support. Everyone is encouraged to do what they enjoy and meet new people.

About the area

Queen’s Lodge is close to Crawley town centre and has good public transport links so our guests can explore and enjoy the local community.

Trips to the Leisure Centre, theatre and parks are often enjoyed by our guests, while some prefer to relax in the garden.

How we support people

We can support up to ten people with learning disabilities and/or autism – with a range of differing needs – who are aged 18 or older.

Our staff team are committed to personalisation – that is, supporting people in a way that they and their loved ones choose. We are a friendly, welcoming and professional team committed to providing the best support possible.

We have waking night support staff available and all staff are highly skilled and trained. The Queen’s Lodge respite service is regulated by the Care Quality Commission.
