Getting pretty muddy for Dimensions

Eight ladies from our team in the West took part in the Race For Life Pretty Muddy 5km in Bath to raise money for Dimensions. Between them, they raised over £600!

Lucie Golbourn, Becca Newton, Trina Ford, Claire Samways, Gemma Harding-Wyatt, Ellie Bright Helen Orford and Liz Black ran the 5km race which had a series of challenging obstacles to overcome.

Becca said “It’s quite different to just running a 5km because of the obstacles, and it was more tiring than I imagined. All of us pushed ourselves to run it, and we had some fantastic support on the day.”

“It was good fun, we were all different abilities but we managed to all meet up at the end where they had a slide so we all managed to cross the finish together.”

To top off the achievement they also received a personal letter of congratulations from Michelle Donelan, their local MP for Chippenham.

Well done and thank you to the team for all your hard work!
