As the summer months become a distant memory, what better time to reminisce on the busy, bustling day that was the Everybody Counts Summer BBQ in Bath.
Our team in the West held the BBQ at the Stothert and Pitt Rugby Club in Bath and invited people we support from all across the South West region.
It was a fantastic opportunity for the people we support, their families and staff alike to meet one another and make new friends on a sunny summer’s day in August.
The team hired a BBQ to cater for the 80+ people who attended, and held games for the people we support including jenga and skittles.
They also thought outside the box to ramp up the entertainment factor, and bought photo booth props for everyone to wear such as coloured wigs, big glasses and feather boas – as you can see from the photos, they went down an absolute treat!
The BBQ was part of our Everybody Counts meetings. Everybody Counts meetings are held every quarter in all our regions, where the people we support get together and talk about what is working and not working.
