Peter Andre meets mysterious girl Claire

This is Claire. Claire is a huge fan of Peter Andre and she has been lucky enough to meet him at an intimate chat show at Crawley’s The Hawth Theatre.

Claire used to visit Peter Andre’s coffee shop in East Grinstead every week. It was her routine to go as part of her 1:1 support every Tuesday, so she was very disappointed when it closed down.

Until recently, she hadn’t had the opportunity to see her hero since. This was a negative experience for Claire, but she was aware that Peter didn’t live too far away and would often try to spot his cars driving around.

It was no surprise that Claire was thrilled when Fiona King, one of Dimensions’ support workers, recently supported her to attend ‘An Evening with Peter Andre’, which included a meet and greet.

Support Worker Fiona King said: “I think the experience was great for Claire. Peter Andre really is a talking point for her and a person she feels is part of her life.

“It was a real shame when his coffee shop closed down as Claire missed the regular activity and structure. But as soon as the tickets were booked, it gave her something really positive to look forward to.

“We will definitely be on the lookout for more public appearances or concerts for Claire to meet Peter Andre again.”

The ‘evening with’ was different to most concerts as it was more of an informal chat show than a concert. The pair had great seats, towards the front of the stage, and the performance was very relaxed. Peter spent a lot of time sitting on the sofa, telling stories about his life and interacting with the audience.

Claire was very excited prior to meeting Peter. The event had been booked several months in advance to give her plenty of time to prepare and it became her main point of conversation.

As well as engaging with the crowd, the Insania star also sang a few of his favourite songs. Claire enjoyed getting up with the rest of the crowd to dance and sing along.

After the show it was Claire’s turn for the meet and greet. As Claire’s turn drew nearer; she was happy, smiling and excited to meet her idol.

The super fan was especially pleased when Andre’s children Princess and Junior came over to see her.

The pair said ‘hi’, which she really appreciated, as Claire is also a big fan of them and discusses them a lot. Claire went up to meet Peter, introduced by Fiona, and gave him a big hug.

He asked her if she liked the show and she said she did.

Claire also asked about any future plans for more coffee shops but unfortunately, Peter has decided against.

Fiona helped Claire tell Peter she was a really big fan of his and that she used to visit his coffee shop regularly.

Claire had her photo taken with Peter and said ‘goodbye’, before waiting to collect her photo.

She was delighted to have met her idol and says that she loves him as much as ever.
