Brenda goes to see The Chase!

Brenda, a lady we support in the South, travelled up to London with her support worker Ushma recently to see a recording of quiz show, The Chase.

Her passion for quiz shows meant that this trip really was a dream come true for Brenda.

It was originally Ushma’s suggestion who, knowing Brenda’s love of the show, suggested that they should go and see one together live in the studio.

Both Brenda and Ushma travelled to the ITV studios on the Southbank in London by train.

Once they had arrived, Brenda could hardly contain her excitement and could not wait to sit and watch the recording.

The show was the celebrity version making the trip even more special. The experience was topped off by one of the celebrities on the show being from Brenda’s favourite soap, Emmerdale.

Brenda had the most fantastic day out and it was incredibly rewarding for Ushma to see how much she had gained from the day.

Before heading home they both enjoyed an evening meal out together in London before returning home after a long, but thoroughly enjoyable day.

The trip was such a success that Ushma is currently looking into organising a trip to visit the ‘Emmerdale’ studios with Brenda later in the year.
