Dimensions has recently welcomed Russ Kennedy into the post of Director of Dimensions Cymru.
Russ formerly worked as a Service Manager for United Welsh, a housing association which was the largest provider of specialist housing in South Wales.
Russ’ role involved managing all of the specialist accommodation including supported housing for people with mental health problems, disabilities, homeless people, housing for older people and housing for people with learning disabilities and autism.
He has been working within the housing and social care sectors since 2003 when he left the Navy to work with homeless people.
Steve Scown, Dimensions CEO said “Russ has a great history of expertise in the housing sector and I’m incredibly excited to see his contributions to Dimensions Cymru.”
Russ said “Having worked with Dimensions for a few years as a Housing Association partner, I jumped at the chance to join the team.
What really excites me about Dimensions is our real commitment to working with the people we support to build lives that are fulfilling, meaningful and extraordinary.
It’s been fantastic to have been so warmly welcomed by both new colleagues and the people we support who have been really complimentary about the services we provide.”
