Dimensions welcomes new Group Director of Housing and Business Development

Dimensions has recently welcomed Chris Woodhead into the post of Group Director of Housing and Business Development.

Chris has over 20 years’ experience in both the housing and social care sectors leading a diverse range of services including housing options, supported living, social and economic regeneration and development.

Chris joined us as a consultant on an interim basis in 2016 to help us develop a new housing strategy.

He is passionate about great customer service, value for money and is committed to delivered exemplar homes in which to deliver exemplar support.

Steve Scown, Dimensions CEO said “I am really excited about Chris joining us on a permanent basis.

He has helped and guided us in developing our new Board-approved housing strategy and was the unanimous choice after a lengthy recruitment process.”

Chris said ”“It’s a privilege to join Dimensions, an organisation with a rich heritage of supporting people to lead more fulfilling, active lives.

I love our commitment to use research to constantly improve outcomes for the people we support.  There are many providers out there but, in my experience, it is rare to see such an alignment of values throughout an organisation.

Wherever I go in Dimensions I see the same commitment to – as our mission says – ‘proving that life can get better’.  With that kind of consensus we can achieve so much, even in such uncertain times, and I’m very happy to be here to help!”
