Ask your museum to be autism friendly

Due to Covid-19 some venues are closing. Please check with your local venue and visit this page for updates and information.

Our training for museums to become autism friendly is free to download, but it isn’t compulsory. We need you to ask your museum to make the adjustments.

Ask them to visit dimensions-uk.org/AFMTraining to become an autism friendly museum.

Let’s make museums more inclusive!

This is your opportunity to talk with your local museum about autism, raise their understanding, and discuss what would make the biggest difference to you.

How to contact your museum

Go in person

Pop along and see them! Ask to speak to someone and talk to them about the difference autism friendly adjustments could make to you.

We’ve produced this helpful flyer you can show them. It explains:

  • what autism friendly means
  • results from our national survey
  • how we developed the training
  • how to access the resources.
