Consulting our staff
We want everyone to have the opportunity to be listened to and raise issues. We consult with our employees before key decisions on major initiatives or changes to policies are made.
We use a variety of ways of communicating to try to reach everyone.
We have regional staff groups where you can discuss and resolve local staff issues. In addition, an organisation-wide group meets quarterly to talk about and resolve staff issues that cannot be solved locally and could affect a larger group of employees. This group includes senior management team members and employees from each region are encouraged to attend.
A separate joint Dimensions/UNISON committee deals with negotiations of pay and any changes to Terms and Conditions.
UNISON - Our recognised trade union
UNISON is the recognised trade union for staff employed by Dimensions. UNISON and Dimensions have an open and positive relationship, and members are able to have a real say on the workplace issues that affect them.
