How do our social enterprises work?
Our social enterprises are not-for-profit businesses that offer jobs and training not only for people who experience learning disabilities but also people who feel socially or economically disadvantaged.
Our social enterprises are in a variety of locations across England and offer training and work experience to help people become more employable. Trainees work in a structured way towards an accredited qualification, for example employees at The Courthouse Cuppa are working towards their Food Hygiene Certificate.
With an opportunity to work and the right kind of support we’ve found that our Enterprises Employees become much more confident, develop more skills become more social and need less support.
