Our support advisors are experts in that’s available for you and your family and can help you work out what you want and how much it will cost.
Jocelyn, one of our support advisors, explains how these meetings work:
“We’ll come and meet with you at a time and place where you’re most comfortable and listen to what you want, what support you already have in place, any assessments you’ve had and what you want to change or achieve.
We can also give you ideas about support you may not have considered before and because we’ve got such in-depth knowledge of the ins and outs we may be able to suggest things you’ve never heard of before or help you get funding.
We’ll make notes on the meeting and try to plan some costs for your new support package at the meeting itself.
Some people want to have a look at services so that they can get a better idea of what to expect and what’s right for them, we often arrange these visits during your first meeting.
We’ll always write up the notes of the meeting so that you can see what comes next. If you want to proceed with support, we’ll arrange for further meetings and planning sessions so that we can start to put a care package in place.”
