Dimensions family survey
To help us monitor how well we're doing, we ask relatives of the people we support to take part in our annual survey.
Results from family survey 2011
Our second relatives survey was sent out in November 2011. Over 20% of relatives responded to the survey.
Who responded to the survey?
The relationship of the person responding to the survey is shown in this first diagram, you'll see that over 70% or respondents are parents.
How long have we supported their family member?
The length of time that we have support their family member is shown in the diagram below, but we have supported over 50% of individuals for more than five years.
Rating our services
Overall satisfaction levels for this year and last year are shown below. Almost 70% of people rated us as very good or excellent, and very few scored us very poorly although our scores are slightly down on last yea's score.
We have found that, as with last year, relatives with over ten years experience of our services are more likely to be very satisfied.
Knowledge of personalisation
We asked families if they had heard about personalisation in their area. There has been a slight increase in the numbers having been heard about it:

Whilst personalisation has only been heard of by around half respondents, there has been an increase in the proportion of people saying that their relative has more choice and control as a result of personalisation, from 10% to 20%.
