Executive Team
David was appointed as Chief Executive of New Era in March 1998. He was appointed Group Chief Executive in April 2001 when New Era and New Support Options formed the Dimensions group.
David has worked for 35 years in the housing and social care sector for both older people and people with learning difficulties. He worked for Anchor Trust for over 20 years.
David is Chairman of Housing Options, an advice service for people with learning difficulties and professionals on housing issues. He also is a member of the National Housing Federation's Care and Housing Advisory Group.
Steve is a qualified social worker and worked for nearly 20 years in a local authority Social Services Department. Most of his fieldwork experience was with children and families and people with mental health issues. When he became a manager, his role focused more on the care of older people and people with disabilities.
He left to join Dimensions (then called West Berkshire Housing Consortium) in 1994 as he thought the third sector offered a greater opportunity to make a difference to people's lives.
He is now the Deputy Chief Executive of Dimensions and the Chief Executive of Dimensions (NSO), one of the group members. His main responsibilities are the management of operations and quality issues. Outside Dimensions, but supported by the organisation, Steve is the UK Chair of the Association for Real Change (ARC) and the co-Chair of Values into Action (VIA).
Steve is a qualified social worker and worked for nearly 20 years in a local authority Social Services Steve trained as a nurse and is currently Executive Director of Dimensions (UK) Ltd. His NHS experience included managing a small learning disability hospital in Surrey and project managing the development of a range community based services.
Steve joined the voluntary sector in 1993 and has been centrally involved in a number of developments of community services. Steve is particularly interested in enabling service users to take increasing control over their lives. He has led Skills For Care funded projects in developing tools as ways of enabling people to supervise and appraise their support staff, and is currently reviewing organisation systems to ensure they can meet the demands required by individual budgets. Steve is also the organisational lead on Marketing & Business Development.
Chris was formerly Managing Director of Adepta. Following the merger with Dimensions in 2008, he joined the team as Executive Director.
Mark has held a number of senior finance roles in the service sector. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and worked at KPMG for eight years gaining experience in audit, tax, corporate finance (mergers and acquisitions) and receiverships. From there he joined Lex Service plc where he became Finance Director in one of its subsidiaries. He later joined Dalkia plc and undertook Finance Director and Deputy Chief Executive roles in different subsidiaries. Mark joined Dimensions at the end of 2007.
Andrew is Director of People and Organisational Development.
