*Project Manager - Ainsley

Hi I'm Ainsley, and I'm currently working as a Project Manager with Dimensions. I've had a good 7 years with the company now, in a variety of different roles, from Senior Support worker to Registered Home Manager. I originally started off as a Relief Support worker, which meant that I could work flexibly around my families needs - I found that the company was very fair with me, and helped me work around my circumstances.
Later I was offered an opportunity to work in one of our Respite units where we supported 58 individual people. This was a very exciting opportunity for me - I thought that the diversity of the people within the service would keep me on my toes! I worked there for around 2 and a half years and loved every minute of it. I have enjoyed the constant change as it helps with my own development and builds my knowledge.
At the moment my work mostly involves laying foundations for new services, ensuring we get everything right for the people we support, and their staff teams. We work with outside agencies and our Team Managers to ensure we get as much right as we can, at a pace that is right for everybody concerned. I'm finding out that communication is vitally important! With a dedicated staff team, a consistent approach, we can help people to really get what they really want in their lives.
